Gina grew up in Naperville with her “big, crazy Italian family.” After developing an early passion for music, art and fashion, she enrolled at Columbia College where she studied fashion design and merchandising. While still a student, Gina worked at a restaurant where she found herself coordinating private parties in their event space. That experience led her to positions as Sales and Catering Manager for the Allerton Crowne Plaza and the Hard Rock Café. She later spent five years at the Fairmont Hotel as a Convention Services coordinator where she and her team earned recognition as top performers for three consecutive years.
In 2009, Gina’s twins were born and her workplace shifted closer to home. She spent some time as a reading coach for first graders in the Chicago Public Schools, an experience she describes as “amazing and rewarding.” She and her husband have also become active with organizations working to build awareness and find cures for Juvenile Diabetes, a condition that her son lives with.
Gina describes herself as someone who puts her family first but is also a “foodie” who loves fine wine and travel. She hopes to someday plan a family vacation to Italy where all of her passions can be united.
